L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation Review

It’s once again that time where we have to take a close look at our makeup routine and make edits for the season’s change. One product that I have to put some extra thought into around the chillier months is foundation. Especially being a combo girl, my skin tends to go through a lot of changes and dry patches will pop up while my t-zone still stays shiny, so my foundation has to be ready to tackle anything while still looking great.

The L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Glow 24-hour foundation seemed like a good place to start in my search for the best winter foundation. With an air-light, radiant finish and all-day coverage, I figured that it could even out my complexion and hold up on the busiest of days.

I love the consistency of this foundation, creamy but not too thick, which allows it to blend in extremely easily. It goes on with medium coverage and you can build it up to full coverage in just two layers easily. It definitely feels very dewy when first applying, but it will dry down slightly as it sets. You still end up with a luminous finish, which will keep your skin looking glowing, even if it tends to look dull through fall and winter weather.

I never feel that I look greasy with this foundation, though I definitely need to set it with translucent powder because of my oily t-zone. If I don’t, the shine is strong and it’s just not my cup of tea.

The coverage is a strong point in this foundation, just like the other Infallible, as it completely covers problem areas flawlessly. However, on my combo skin, I can start to see discolorations in my t-zone pop through toward the end of the day as the coverage wears quicker in my oily areas. However, this is another thing that powder fixes. A mid-day blot usually helps keep everything intact til nighttime.

My favorite part about this foundation aside from the coverage is how even it makes my skin look, texture and tone. Above you can see the left side of my face with the foundation applied, where the right side is bare, and how everything looks smooth and even. It makes for the perfect base for any makeup look.

You can find the L’Oreal Infallible Pro-Glow Foundation for $12.99 at Ulta Beauty and in drugstores. It’s the best foundation for fall and winter if you want to keep that glow without sacrificing coverage! I’ve been finding myself actually grabbing this more so than my Make Up For Ever Ultra HD foundation lately, since the coverage and wear time is very comparable.

What’s your favorite foundation this season?

I love this foundation. Been using it for a little over a year now. I use the Matte because I’m pretty oily year round.
